Today will be our last in class day for coiling, for those who are finished you will begin working on your Dia de los Muertos inspired mask.

Today we will either glaze or continue with our coil pots.

Feb 18th & 19th

Nice job with the coil practice yesterday. Lets start sketching for our coil project and begin creating our coil pot! Remember, if you want to make a planter, I will have soil and seeds for you!

Feb 16th & 17th

Lets learn the stages of clay, where clay comes from and how to glaze!

Feb 11th & 12th

Lets finish up those spoon holders and learn about the 5 stages of clay.

Nice job creating pinch pots! Lets recap slipping scoring and smudging, as well as look at different ways to make eyes ears noses etc...

Nice job with the cranes! Lets finish up our sketches and begin creating two pinch pots.

Feb 4th & 5th

Lets play with clay! Following the instructions, lets make an origami crane out of clay. If there is time we will begin brainstorming for our first real assignment, a spoon holder.
