Welcome back! Lets spend the day glazing our masks and sugar skulls.

Work day. We will be continuing with our Dia de los Muertos project, and for those who are finished they may glaze projects or work on extra credit assignments.

March 13th

I hope things went well with the sub, lets recap the assignment and check out another artist.

Those coil pots are fired, lets re-cap techniques and start applying the glaze!

Lets take a look at another famous artist and continue with our masks!

Quite a few of you started slabbing clay yesterday, lets go over a few tricks over the document camera (like how to make a 3D rose)!

Great start on those designs! Today I will introduce the slab roller, and walk you through the first few steps in getting started.

Remember, this does not have to be a day of the dead mask, just follow the requirements and you can turn this into any type of mask you want (ex: Seattle Seahawks, Easter, etc...)
